Although I had purchased the Bayern Ticket and did not use the guest card, it is still quite useful for those without a Bayern Ticket as the guest card allows visitors to take local buses for free. Very quiet at night as all the shops will be closed early in the evening.   The innkeepers are really nice, they prepared local transport information for us. The room was very cozy and was cleaned every day during our stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee and egg.   The hotel is very close to the Hauptbahnhof which makes it wonderful for railers. The rooms were basic, but your just sleeping and showering there. The bathroom was a nice size as was the shower (im 6'1), and the beds were comfortable.   This is one of the most wonderful guest houses I have ever seen. Everything is perfect. The staff is very friendly. There are welcome amenities: tea and coffee 24 hours, free wi-fi, a minibar with reasonable prices. We stayed in a room with a balcony - fantastic view. We had no car but it was an easy walk from train station (half an hour flat walk along the river). They also gave us free bus pass which we didn't end up using on our stay but could be useful. Typical beergarden/restaurant in the local village (500m away).
