Very friendly and helpful staff, always in a good mood and making jokes.
Breakfast was simple but we could order as much as we wanted. Very cozy
and typical restaurant/stube. Walking distance from Berchtesgaden
and busconnections. Beautiful environment next to the river and close to
the mountains. Bamberger Rauchbier available!.
The experience living here was really unforgettable. The host was really

Old school rooms with little to no luxury. Cold bathroom with stone
tiles. Wifi only available in the restaurant.
When you visit the famous places of interest, you have to go to the
Berchtesgaden train station first and then take bus there. But it is not
inconvenient, because all the places are not far away. Besides, wifi
only works in the restaurant on the ground floor.
Dated decor, older, thin towels.
The sound isulation of the room is not very good.
The first words we hear when we get there are: "Enderungen, Enderungen, Enderungen :-( !" Due to uncertainty regarding the time we had to change the booking a few times at letsbookhotel.com. The landlady was rather cross. The quality of our stay improved - however, and we told the hosts that we would like to come back some other time. The last words we heard was that we were welcome, if we did not alter our booking after first have set a fixed date. We doubt that we will come back.
