  This hotel was great, excellent location near the S-Bahn station and near the MarienPlatz you can walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants near by (walking distance). The rooms were very nice and the bathrooms were extremely clean and spacious. Staff super friendly and helpful. Having traveled extensively for work and pleasure, I can confidently say that Hotel Biederstein, though simple, is a wonderful place. Great staff who made us feel very welcome. All of the staff made sure that we were most comfortable, helped us with our logistical questions, and ensured that we had the best possible experience. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. They even upgraded us to a suite, simple as it is, with great views and outside space.

  We have stayed at Freisinger Hof 3 times in the past year. For us the location is ideal, in a residential area near Englischer Garten. For your first visit to Munich you might prefer being in the densely touristed area around Marienplatz, but to me this is the place for a return visit. Car parking is free and underground, and access to the airport... what people say » is simple. Public transport to other parts of Munich is good. We used the (free) bikes provided by the hotel to ride in eg, which I highly recommend. - This hotel feels very new and modern, though the decor is traditional Bavarian. It is out of city center and very near the English Garden, which is why we chose it for our last night before flying out of Munich. It was perfect for our needs. Staff were very helpful with our several requests (luggage scales, needed tube to transport posters home, dinner reservations, loaned umbrella.) Restaurant was excellent if a bit pricey.

  We were made to feel welcome from our check in to our last good bye. It was wonderful to get to know the owners who were present days and evenings, and everyone of the staff was efficient and sincere.
