  The hotel was old fashioned but very well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful and the location was excellent - we were only a 10 minute walk from the busy city centre but there was hardly any traffic around the hotel so the area was quiet. - Very easy to access the U-Bahn.   Superb hotel for the price bracket. Very good standard all round. Room was excellent, very well appointed. We had a slight problem with the heating system. Immediately, a maintance engineer appeared to fix it. We were moved to a lovely room and then offered an upgrade to a corner room.   We loved the location but it might not be for everyone, it was not even a 5 minute walk to Alexander platz which was great as where we stayed was quite quiet. The staff were excellent and the hotel was lovely and always immaculate! We didn't get the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but there was bakeries everywhere, so don't feel the need to ... what people say » get it! We had a great time! We would definitely return. - While not most modern it is well maintained & managed. Everything worked as it should and staff friendly and extremely helpful. (Stefanie the best concierge we have sruck - anywhere). Two minutes walk to public transport and tickets available at hotel. Complimentary croissants and coffee from 5.30 to 6.30 great for early departure.
