  The staff and the service were very fine. I saw the gentleman behind the front desk offer to help another guest locate a place to buy some rare auto parts! Very helpful, cordial, friendly, and warm. The location of this spot is pretty much perfect if you want to be in Mitte or up near Prenzlauerberg, it is a perfect spot if you want to wander into... what people say » bookshops, boutiques, the local parks, or get on the metro and explore other neighborhoods. Such a great alternative to the big corporate business ho - Excellent location only 5 minutes walk to the S Bahn station, with a lift from the street directly down to the platform.   If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.

In Mitte there are some great restaurants,cafes, and shopping. - The location is perfect. Mitte is a great area with lots of vintage stores, nice restaurants en great pubs. Within a couple of minutes you walk to the river Spree, which runs through the hart of the city. Big hotspots like Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Bundestag and Holocaust Denkmal are doable walking. I can recommend this hotel to anyone!

These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin.   I liked the fact that it was so close to a U-Bahn station, close to other major U and S-Bahn stations. The apartment was absolutely comfortable and it was equipped with all the basics one could need. The internet was pretty good for my basic needs, after all I didn't go to Berlin just to stay in the apartment. The only thing missing was a beer ope... what people say » ner, luckily I can open a beer with a lighter :) - Great price for nice apartments - but the key was the location. It was in a great area, right by U-Bahn and other public transport, and walking distance from some great places. There are also a few really cool bars very nearby - Mein Haus am See was particularly good. Recommend to any group of mates on a holiday who want to be in the thick of the action.
