  If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.

In Mitte there are some great restaurants,cafes, and shopping. - The location is perfect. Mitte is a great area with lots of vintage stores, nice restaurants en great pubs. Within a couple of minutes you walk to the river Spree, which runs through the hart of the city. Big hotspots like Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Bundestag and Holocaust Denkmal are doable walking. I can recommend this hotel to anyone!

  The apartment was the perfect size for a couple with extra pull out beds for a family group. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and lots of storage. These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin. One big reason to recommend this apartment is it - - Located on two major tram lines (serving multiple routes), less than 10mins from city centre. - Spacious. - Excellent wi-fi. - Very easy to collect the keys - simply sent an email before leaving the UK with an estimated arrival time, the lady confirmed by text on arrival in Germany and was there to meet us when we arrived (very friendly too). - The central heating system was very good and easy to adjust. - Excellent value for money!
