  We arrived well before check-in with the intention of only dropping our bags until the advertised check-in time.. The guy on the front desk could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating.. He prepared freshly made (complimentary) espressos that we enjoyed in the lounge with delicious christmas cookies and chocolates until we decided ... what people say » what to do with our day. He helped us book a last-minute city tour and provided detailed information for the Christmas markets. While our room was be - The hotel is cozy, comfortable and quiet. Nicely located in East Berlin, it's minutes away from Alexanderplatz, underground and some of the most famous Berlin monuments. Nothing to complain about here. Staff is superb. There's no breakfast at the hotel - my best advice here is to go to Alex restaurant (located in the bottom of the TV Tower), you can get buffet breakfast for 7 euros every day from 9 to 12. In the evening you can have dinner round around the corner in a couple of very nice german

The room was a really good size, the bathroomand toilet were lovely and spotlessly clean, and the aircon worked fine.The location was excellent for a first visit, very close to theTopography of Terror which was one of the best things we saw in Berlin(and free!), Checkpoint Charlie and Potsdamer Platz. The mini kitchen was very useful, hotel lent us dishes so we could make full of the microwave. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent, within walking distance of several notable sites in Berlin, including Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate. Easy to find by car from motorway and good parking facilities.
