  At first, I had booked a 16-day stay at the standard rate, which did not include a desk and a chair. I immediately upgraded and had a very enjoyable stay. I was also a little disappointed that there were few cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood and that the hotel seemed to be in a business district and residential apartment district. I also realized I was minutes - As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy. The location is excellent, around the corner from the Spittelmarkt U-bahn station. There are eateries near the station--a bakery, konditorei and bierstube restaurant.   These are beautiful apartments with excellent and friendly staff. We had a 4-person room and had plenty of space. The pull-out couch was actually very comfortable. The accomodations are clean, new, and very well thought out.   The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great right next to Fredrichstrasse Train Station. The hotel before check in and after you check out the hotel will look after your bags so you do not have to carry them about. - The room was very good and the staff very professional.
