However, it was a little too far to walk to the main attractions. The apartment was fantastic - very spacious and the beds were very comfortable - and the children loved the indoor swimming pool.

  The staff was very friendly but some appeared a bit reserved. The location is great, it took about 20min to walk to the central station/city (the neighborhood is also very good). If you prefer the metro the nearest station is just down the street. The parking area is great; they charge 15euro/day. (Still it's an open area so you can drive in/out - We loved its proximity to the main train station (it can be reached in around 10 min walk). In our room we found some brochures at the back of which there were some discount coupons for Madame Tussauds and Sealife. We were happy to use them and get 2 tickets for the price of 1. If I'll be again in Berlin, I'd stay there again and highly recommend this hotel for others. But this is not big problem, because there are a lot of excellent restaurants for any taste - Excellent location, <5 min walk to Gendarmenmarkt and 5min walk to German Dome. Closest metro stop is Hausvoigtel which is on a great line and can take you (without changing lines) to the Zoo or Ku-damm (shopping area). Wifi is free, stable, and reasonably fast. Hotel rooms are very well appointed and smart. Some great dining options closeby like Chipps for breakfast. All in all would stay again - really a nice hotel.
