We booked the Star for Thursday night only as the Mercure where we were based during the Bahá'í Conference did not have their special negotiated rate until Friday. The staff were the most friendly that I have ever met in a hotel. Fromthe multi lingual receptionist right down to the breakfast staff wishingeveryone tcheuss in the morning. Clean, comfortable, good tv selectionand flat screen. Free internet. The not for profit mini bar wasexcellent, ie 1 euro per beer, drink or snack.... You get a greatbreakfast

The breakfast was excellent, and this was the only hotel with air conditioning and flat screen TVs and FREE WIRELESS (and we stayed in some 4 star hotels). The rooms are slightly small, but this is to be expected by European standards.

I liked that you could just walk to the main Hauptbahnhof and go directly to the airport on platform 103... taking the S8 or S9. (the more someone can say this, the better for tourists that might get lost). I liked that the minibar was included in the price... I like that the TV was above eye level so you can look up and have a more direct contact

We booked two standard rooms to accommodate us and our two teenagers. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Location was ideal to Frankfurt-Main airport and we LOVED the terrace outside our room. We enjoyed elegant riesling from the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed here before and loved how close it was to the airport and the staff have always been very warm to welcome you to the hotel and assist with anything you may need. The shuttle service runs 24hrs and makes it nice for getting to the airport on time. I will use this hotel every time I am passing through Germany. - My stay was very comfort
