  We booked the Star for Thursday night only as the Mercure where we were based during the Bahá'í Conference did not have their special negotiated rate until Friday.   I liked that you could just walk to the main Hauptbahnhof and go directly to the airport on platform 103... taking the S8 or S9. (the more someone can say this, the better for tourists that might get lost). I liked that the minibar was included in the price... The staff was extremely nice, I almost felt like I was in a different world for a minute.. - This is a relatively small hotel, not very special, but calm, clean, satisfying. The elevator is small (fits for two), but fine. The breakfast is not very sophisticated, the food spectrum is relatively small, but all food was in good quality.   We loved Hotel Rödelheimer Hof - Am Wasserturm. Very friendly and efficient owner and staff. We arrived late, just as the kitchen was closing, but in spite of this Chef stayed on and we were offered anything we wanted from the menu. Food was great!   I have stayed here before and loved how close it was to the airport and the staff have always been very warm to welcome you to the hotel and assist with anything you may need. The shuttle service runs 24hrs and makes it nice for getting to the airport on time.
