great location acroos the road from te side entrance to the train station. fantastic breakfast, very clean hotel with large rooms, would highly recommend. Ease of access to the station and the opera. Proximity to the station and to the opera. Not a major issue, but the room was fairly small compared to most German hotels I have stayed in with similar star ratings. No free internet connection. There was a police station opposite, and the noise from the police dogs barking in kennels all night kept us awake. Also a lot of street noise. We come from a rural location, so it is very noticable. bad pillow, high price during the fair,no iron and ironing board in the room. Room was rather small and there was no easy chair nor a good reading light. As we were paying 243 Euros for one night (as there was a Messe on), we expected rather more. The next night only cost 72 Euros! I wrote the comments on the evaluation available at the hotel. Single room is vey small but acceptable for price. Lift is very small and slow. in service manual, the front desk may supply free shaving set, but actually the attendants always said 'no'. Modern minimalist décor only looks good when new, here is it a littletired. The walk from the hotel to the Old Town is through an area thatwe felt quite uncomfortable in.beds were to soft. room space. Price :(. Althouh renovated, not up to standard. Stale smoke from street through open window, hot, noisy. ROOMS. The shower was broken (had been already a longer time), which why I choose another hotel for the next week. hairdryer did not work. Did not like the single bed. Also tv did not work. Sound penetrate easily through thin wall. housekeeping was quite poor. room could be bigger and a little cleaner. Very high rate due to exposition. Rooms are small and not very nice. Very expensive for what you get.
