The place is really good to stay. It is easy to find and close to check in. Moreover, it is the center of the city: 3 min to Check Point Charlie and 15 min to Branderburg Tor and Museum Island. Having a whole apartment for myself! Very well located, only 2 blocks away from Charlie Checkpoint.
There is a small market just in front of the apt.
I recommend booking an apartment only for those that will stay +4 nights, otherwise it is not worth it.

The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped.

The location was very close to the U-bahn station and supermarkets for getting food for the apartment. The area is very quiet at night and we saw no trouble.I would highly recommend staying with City Rentals for value for money. I will be choosing them again on my next trip to Berlin next year! -

You get what is being promised, inexpensive, decent, clean accommodation not far from the public transport. Actually the hotel is within walking distance (one U-bahn stop) to the center of West Berlin, but it is also quiet and free of the big city noise. Contrary to some old comments Internet has been improved and has worked fine. Breakfasts are very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location was good. Very quiet, close to a underground / subway stop and close to free parking. The flat had good amenities - fast internet service, clean bathroom, good heating and hot water. The bed was comfortable, it had a huge balcony (which we didn't use) and there was a large, modern TV. -

If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.
