The room was a really good size, the bathroomand toilet were lovely and spotlessly clean, and the aircon worked fine.The location was excellent for a first visit, very close to theTopography of Terror which was one of the best things we saw in Berlin(and free!), Checkpoint Charlie and Potsdamer Platz. Easy to find by car from motorway and good parking facilities.

  This is a budget hotel given its price (good hotels in Berlin tend to be much more expensive) but it goes an extra mile to be something more than that. The exterior and interior design is very tasteful and cool.   courteous staff. the receptionist was really nice and helpful whenever i needed anything. it was nice to have a wash machine on the premises as i notice is hard to find a laundromat in the city. the breakfast was wonderful. the attendant kept it well stocked and i didnt have to ask for anything. i also liked that it was right next door to the u ba... what people say » hn. i could easily get to all the major sites. - We booked a twin room and were given a large apartment for 2 people with huge amount of storage space. Super shower and bathroom, own kitchenette (not used), lounge with dining area and separate bedroom. Very warm on an icy couple of nights in December.
