  We had a lovely large triple room, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, warm and comfy, lovely large bathroom, great breakfast, within easy walking distance of the centre of Salzburg and 2 minutes to the train station, unassuming and friendly multi-lingual staff, fast checkout. Even the kitchen staff was great. The breakfast was good (but get there early to get a taste of everything). The room was very nice and clean.   High quality hotel with friendly, informative staff and many little extras. Our room, in the Villa, was more of a suite and very well presented. The location is close to bus routes, only a short walk into the centre of Salzburg and but in a quiet area.   I spent two nights at Hotel Rosenvilla, and couldn't have been happier with my choice. Service was impeccable, and Stephanie warrants special mention for having assisted me in finding the hotel, to the point she actually drove to meet me and lead me there (how humiliating!). The parking is somewhat limited, but never caused me a probl - The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and really made our surprise birthday trip with all of their attention to detail. The room was large and spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom excellent. Breakfast was superb and well worth the money, and the location outside the city centre is no problem as it's easily walkable (15 minutes along the river) or 5 minutes by bus. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

  This is our second time at this Hotel but the last time, they were full (December 2005) and we had not booked!) but they kindly let us stay with their Aunt who lives in a house in the grounds.
