  Staff was very helpful and polite. We arrived late and could easily get keys to our room from the security safe provided. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station. Although it is not necesarilly near the main centre of town, it was an easy 15-20 minute walk. Hotel is located on a quiet street, and the hotel is secure so you must have a card to get access inside. I stayed in a single room, so it was simple but just what I needed after a long day of touring.

The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

There was a bus but we did not feel the need to use it. There was an excellent restaurant across the road which served Italian and Pakistani meals. - The accommodation was a short walk to the city centre. The garden was lovely and everything was impeccably clean. Plenty of parking was available and a great selection of tasty options was provided for breakfast. The staff were hospitable and the Salzburg card (which is great value for money - was available for purchase at the front desk.

The location was good, not right in Salzburg so you needed to take public transport to get in and out, but bus 4 runs right in and the stop is only a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel.
