  Amazing place with a beautiful view of Salzburg. It is close to the historical centre but in the middle of nature at the same time. Rooms are very simple with bunk beds so it is really just for sleeping. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Breakfast, which is included in the price, was surprisingly good and rich - buffet style. Generally, the best service for the price!! - The location of the hostel is just great: the view from the mountain top, where the hostel is situated, is breath-taking, in fakt, you can see all the sights at once. The staff is friendly and affable. Breakfast is good, especially, if you are taking it front of the panorama-window in the common area.

  The hotel is in an excellent position, and is very tastefully decorated ( except fot the absolutely hidious standard lamp in the bedroom!! ) The choice of cold foods at breakfast was very good but the scrambled eggs looked rather sad.   The appartment we had was Antonia. It was a very elegant suite-like appartment with many lovely details. It is situated in the most famous street of Salzburg and yet it was amazingly quiet.   The apartment was fantastic and it certainly exceeded my expectations. Very clean, comfortable, modern (surprising given the building was built in the 1400s) and service was impeccable. The amenities within the apartment is great, nice TVs, DVD player, cool radio and a wonderful kitchen. The apartment is smack in the city center as the name sugg... what people say » ests. Parking is also available and is only about 200m away, very convenient if you drive to an old city like this. Supermarkets are also within a 1 - The apartments are very modern. In the heart of the city and several restaurants, river front near by. The owner Mandez and his wife are awesome hosts and went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

  It was a delightful experience. While reading some of the reviews priorto being there I did have a few concerns. But after having been thereand experiencing first hand none of those negative comments applied. We experienced no noise. - The Star Hotel in Salzburg was brilliant! its location to the city,via a walk through a pedestrian tunnel puts you within a hundred metres of the main shopping area.Our room was spotlessly clean and although it overlooked the main road into the city we did not experience any roadnoise.The staff were always very polite and smiling(a rare commodity these days).

  Spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable beds, lovely and warm, Nespresso machine with coffee and milk, make up mirror and hairdryer in bathroom, good shower, very helpful owners who allowed early check in and late check out. Only 5 mins walk to the Old Town and very easy to get from/to airport. Altogether excellent value for money. Comfort, amenities, location, and most of all, staff, were superb. we would recommend this unhesitatingly and enthusiastically to anyone.
