Salzburg Guest accommodation

During the summer festival in Salzburg we stayed in this charming hotel Adlerhof. The location is great ,closed to the train station and a short walk to the old town. The rooms are very nice and comfortable - in Austrian Style - at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is much better that we had expected. .We also enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. We recommend this nice place to all of our friends. - William

Gastehaus Eva-Maria is a great place to stay in Salzburg. There are only 7 rooms so it really feels like a bed & breakfast. The rooms are good size and the bathrooms are terrific. The hostess (Elfie, I think) is great -- very, very friendly! She gave us good directions for walking into the heart of Salzburg (which took less than 10 minutes and was a very scenic walk!). You may want to take a taxi to the Gastehaus the first time (unless you have a car of course) as it is a little hard to find - Doreen

The hostel/hotel offers ecellent value for money. Rooms are quite spacious & well-equipped. Everything is maintained to a very high standard. Found the staff to be extremely helpful. I was very pleased with the stay and would recommend it. - Anonymous

My husband and I are well travelled, having been from Hong Kong to New York to Sydney....and this was the best hotel experience we had! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and look forward to visiting again. When my 3 children recall our stay in Salzburg, they only talk about our 'friends' at the hotel. This owner operated hotel was truly spectacular....we miss you! - Gary
