  I have stayed there before and found it to be clean, safe, and very friendly. It is also convenient to downtown. I actually was on a tour that ended in Seattle and convinced another couple to stay there also when it ended. The lady at the check in had a beautiful smile and the bartender was extremely helpful when I wanted something to - Bed was very comfortable, quality linens and towels. Free water bottles. Quality coffee in lobby. Great shower. Nice tvs. Rick at front desk was fantastic. Upgraded us from a deluxe king to a king suite at no charge because of challenging customer service at the 1-800 line. Great location, and we were not bothered by local construction outside our window.

The location is great for the Seattle Centre - both for the attractions located there - opera, ballet, theatre etc., and the monorail for transportation to the city centre. Staying at Hotel Max made me feel like I was part of the 'cool kids' hipster club.   Great location by the waterfront (Lake Union South). Very easy access to I5. Very quiet rooms. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was ideal for our family. The separate bedrooms are either side of the living room/kitchen. Great breakfast, nice (smallish) swimming pool and very quick and easy to get downtown via trolleybus. Wish the old ladies with dog... what people say » s wouldn't bring them into the breakfast serving area. There is occasionally a free light meal served around 5pm where lots of business men come to fi - Spacious suite with an extremely comfortable bed and lovely view; great pool and gym facilities; excellent breakfast with coffees/teas available all day; very helpful staff; good location with tram service to downtown just outside the door - overall an excellent hotel which I'd definitely recommend.

Rooms were large and clean; liked refrig and microwave in room since only one nearby cafe.
