The staff was friendly, room was clean, convenient to everything (incl convention center - 1/2 block),was about $100 less than surrounding hotels, had a separate living room/sitting area (not all rooms are like this, but staff let me pick the layout of my room), had to leave early and they agreed to refund balance on a "non-refundable room!. Room upgrade. Cleanliness of room. Comfort of room. Quality of bedding. Size of flat screen tv. Housekeeping. Room rates. Help from front desk. Location, location, location. Comfort/furnishings of lobby. Staff helped with our luggage. Hotel stored our luggage while we checked-out and had breakfast.
all reviews » It is an amazing Hotel and i can highly recommend it. The Hotel staff was super friendly... The location oft the Hotel is wonderful - shopping and dining in walking distance. The Train to the space needle only 2 Blocks away... Room 2001, which was more comfortable than any hotel room I have had in years. And Jeremy at the front desk, whose was more helpful and polite than any hotel employee I have dealt with in years. The hotel was comfortable and the facilities were clean and easily used. It was unique that the shower was in a separate room from the bathroom, which I found to be convenient. Location in the centre of everything. Large room with sitting area. Friendly and helpful staff. Cozy lobby, internet available . Good value for money. Location and that I can take my daughters there and have a overnight in Seattle without spending a fortune which we do not have. I was mostly impressed with Lucy, who checked us in. Great customer service skills, friendly, and helpful. She was great. the location was perfect. staff was very friendly and was able to get us in a day early. Room was beautiful. Hotel/Valet checked us out during our stay; we had to have our room cards reprogrammed. This was an error and should not have happened. Also, no record of our car was found on one day after valet took it into their garage. We resolved this with management. Seattle itself wasn't that nice. Lot's oft violence and poorness... I liked everything (except the lack of sunshine!). The only problem with this stay was that when using the shower the temperature would fluctuate. After setting it to a comfortable temperature it would randomly shift so that it was either freezing cold or burning hot. Bathroom a bit small. No restaurant at this time. It would be nice to have a drink in a lobby lounge environment as it is the kind of cozy lobby condusive to an end of the day glass of wine. I asked for a room with a view of the water. The gal said all the two queen size bed rooms were facing the city. It would be nice if you had some rooms with the two queens facing the water. nothing. Hmmm. Don't recall. The bathroom was small and the restaurant had just closed I think. The street/homeless people downtown. There are so many and it's very tragic. I wouldn't feel safe at night downtown alone or with women. During the day I found the young people selling memberships/asking for donations for organizations very annoying as they were on every street corner. Nothing. nothing. The room is pretty small, considering the price and the level of the hotel. It is an older hotel so the bathroom is smaller than what some may expect but was fine for us. The breakfast was very basic and not that fresh. Cleaning of floors in bathroom could have been better. No restaurant. The valet parking fee. Continental Breakfast was sparse and mediocre at best. A little more effort is all it would take to be make it worthwhile. things were a bit outdated, wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, rooms have dim lighting. Currently no room service because the restuarant they used moved. One of the elevators was out for two days so there was often a 15-30 minute wait to go up to the room to get something (each way!).I missed my conference luncheon because I needed to go up to the room and put things there before proceeding to the conference (which was only across the street!) but by the time I got up to my room and back down, it had taken almost an hour and I just had to skip the lunch. N/A. The elevator was slow. No restaurant. $30.00 bucks for parking is a rip off. We booked an ada room for my brother and oops it wasn.t available when we checked in. Internet wifi availability was not great. Nothing!. Parking fees, but that's downtown Seattle for you. continental breakfast. no food. No Hot Tub/Spa or Restaurant. Vons closed shop a week before I arrived, I was told. Parking could come down a tad bit. The parking is expensive . Nothing to complain about. Information about elevators scheduled to be out of service was not distributed well. No notice in room (not even phone message); no notice on each floor in elevator lobby area; no notice on check-in. Then the next day the same thing! Housekeeping did not clean room and when tried to reach them, no one answered the phone; had to complain to front desk and were told "they have gone home...." Eventually that evening someone did come to clean. Rooms are small but comfortable. For a deluxe queen it was a very small room. Restaurant was closed did not reflect that on website . no room service . Just did not feel like a luxury hotel and for $615 for 2 nights after all there add ons not a good value .Probally will not return. No in room entertainment options No pay movies No room service or options for food Low room 3rd floor allowing all foot and auto traffic too be heard and intrusive for exorbitant price 400$ dollars a night was ridiculous Very misleading. I din'at like the huge surprise all the added taexes and having to pay for the garage. It would have been more honest if you would have informed us of all the added on costs. Taxing the room and then taxing the occupancy as well is a little redundant to say the least. I felt I was staying in a government hotel. Also, we had a room for four people and had only one small soap in the bathroom.
