The bed was super comfortable, I had a very good night's sleep and the bathroom was very lean. We had a first floor room that was perfect since stairs are not my favorite thing.

  This property is under new management and getting better every day... you won't find better service. The location is fantastic--geographically central to attractions and restaurants--and yet quiet and restful--it's surrounded by farms.   I believe her name was Jill. Began with a J anyway. She seems to run the whole place and busts her butt. She answered the phone when I reserved. She checked me in, she checked me out. She does laundry. Hope you pay her accordingly! - The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

  I can't say enough about this place. I am always a bit leary when booking at a motel, but I need not have worried at the Nittany Budget Motel. To begin with, unlike a lot of other motels, this was not situated in "the middle of nowhere" off a depressing highway. It was actually located in what looked like a business complex with quite a bit of act... what people say » ivity. When I first arrived, I was greeted by a very friendly and accomodating young man at the desk. (Incidentally, the office is located within a "b - Motel old but ok. We were out to hike in Rothrock S.P. and the location was excellent. A good surprise was Harner's Farm shop right across the road, that was a great place for buying apples & co. and our son loved the corn maze and the halloween spooks.

  The room was very comfortable with a recliner and sofa. The room had a small balcony with a table and chair. The restaurant was excellent.   The location is beautiful! The staff was extremely friendly, warm, cheerful, happy to accomodate any need and knowlegeable about the area.
