This is such a gem in the downtown area. If you want to feel special this is the place to visit. Everything from the welcome at our vehicle, to the happy hour in the parlour, to the limo service to our fine dining restaurant (as suggested and reserved by the staff), to the beautiful complimentary breakfast was superb! -

From the moment we entered the kimberly hotel in new york we were greeted with smiles from the receptionist. Our plane arrived in early so we knew check in was at around 3 o clock. So we were prepared to drop our bags and head off to check out the sights but to our surprise the room was ready for us when we got there which was fantastic. Really from there on the staff were great they even sent me up a birthday cake for my birthday:-)
The hotel was beautiful the bed was amazing so cosy and soft.

helpful. And the old-timer car service was coolest of all ! The
proximity to the subway (one stop only from Grand Central !) and from
the ferry to dumbo and Wall Street make this a very good alternative to

The location is very close to the lake and there are many good restaurants nearby. The first night we were given a room that was over looking at the back parking but in the morning the staff were helpful in locating us to a room that overlooking at the lake which was very nice.

Well managed with a very attentive and helpful staff. The room we had was very comfortable with excellent beds for getting a good nights rest. While there is very little to do in the immediate area, it is located in such a place to facilitate getting to Lake Champlain, Ausable Chasm, Lakes Placis and Saranac and many other outdoor venues. Although we stayed during the ice storm, dueing wich the hotel was full of NYSE workers, we got the same attention as always.
