  This motel is in a good location at the east end of the main street through town - close to shopping, dining and Mesa Verde National Park. The free continental breakfast was better than I expected for a motel in this price range. The breakfast room was small but cute and very clean with an attentive front desk clerk keep - The room was very clean and they allowed pets. The rooms were back off the highway, whereas other motel/hotels in this area were not. The benches outside the rooms and table and chairs on the grassy area outside were a nice plus in the evening.

  We are on a strict budget and needed a place that felt as close to home as possible. We checked in at National 9 Inn and stayed more days than we initially had planned to. Staff was very kind to us. Rooms were very clean. Any concerns were dealt with so much care and deligence by the manager. They also have a pool that is open for the summer days.... what people say » Mesa Verde was only a few minutes away, and the motel is on the downtown strip of cortez so walking distance to most places. - Very clean big rooms. Front desk was extremely helpful & made me feel safe as I was traveling alone and extremely accomodating to all my requests. Walking distance to downtown & very close to Mesa Verde. Small breakfast with such an affordalble price was great. Restaurant next door to the motel was delicious! I will come back and stay with national 9 Inn again.

  The staff was very accommodating. We loved the room with 3 queen beds as it met our family's needs. That option was far preferable to having to get a roll-away or a separate room & was reasonably priced. Very close to expressway for easy access but noise was minimal.   It was good enough. Nothing overly great and nothing terrible to complain about. The beds and the breakfast were decent. The room was clean enough. It was good for the price. - Breakfast staff very nice. Front desk helpful with dinner recommendations.

  The motel has been recently upgraded by new owners. The beds and 100% cotton linens were fantastic. Each room has a little different decor. It is as if the travelers needs were thought of first: 4 bed pillows; layers of bed covers; plates, silverware, corkscrew, toaster, kitchen towels and glassware for the micro/fridge area, lots of fluffy towels... what people say » ; wi-fi, and flat screen. Staff and owner were attentive and friendly . Great to be away from the chains. Stayed 3 nites and did not need regular maid - Great Staff, The owner bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable. The price is a great value. Hotel is from 1947 so don't expect modern baths etc. tho Wi-Fi was good, expect the charm of a well maintained hotel from an era long past. Great stay, will stay again

  Our heater in our room did not work and they tried quickly to repair it but were unsuccessful.. We were moved to a bigger/better room. Way to go staff!! - What a great value for the money, I stayed at an upscale resort and it didn't even have free wi-fi or breakfast!! I will always stay at a supper 8.
