Owners just wonderful, friendly, helpful and great to talk to, especially for tips on what to see in area. Location good for access to Mesa Verde. Wonderful walk around property with abundance of wildlife. The cleanest hotel we have stayed in during our 5 weeks in USA. Loved the heated floors. Very friendly and accommodating; I asked for a microwave in the room and it got installed without any problem. Excellent place to visit Mesa Verde NP. 10 min by car from the entrance of the park. Spacious room and quiet location. Excellent Wifi connection.
all reviews » A tradtional lodge run by a delightfully helpful and efficient family. We celebrated a birthday whilst at White Eagle; nothing was too much trouble. Great room, easy to get to and quality food available in the locality. We will most certainly return. Room was very clean and well maintained, despite the structure's age. It's family owned, and they were very helpful, honest, and accommodating. They even noticed that I had overpaid by $10, and refunded the difference! Very comfortable and clean. We loved the White Eagle Inn, it is a little gem, you can park right outside your room, and it has all that you need. The hosts are really friendly. Cortez is a lovely town, plenty of great eating places and lots to see nearby. connie made us very welcome theroom was smaller than we had had before but it was very cosy and comfortable the sheets smelt gorgeous and lovely and clean, very picturesque location would highly recommend it. Everything. Very pleasant couple own and operate the motel. I asked for a microwave to be in our room if possible and when we arrived they told us they put one in our room that day. We had a very pleasant overnight stay. Nice people, clean and comfortable room. Easy to find and accessible to town centre for restaurants etc. Very good value for money. The a/c is very loud due to age and is too near the beds for comfort and for quiet. The shower plumbing needs work...when changing from bath to shower the water goes from hot to freezing cold. Nothing. Just wished there had been an ironing board and iron in the room. Nothing. It was further out of town than I thought which wasn't a problem for us but something that people need to be aware of. Nothing. We were not able to stay longer and experience all they had to offer. really not much. No breakfast available. No hairdryer in room. nothing. Nothing. Noise from parties next door a 2am going back to car and room 4 times/car alarm..was only negative. I travel with a CPAP machine to aid me in sleeping. There was a lack of electrical outlets near the bed for its use. No hairdryers in the room. There was nothing specific I didn't like. Perhaps the decoration could be a bit more modern, but it's OK. The coffee pot was dirty. Old-style tv; I mean, come on guys, get into the future. No swimming pool. I know they are booked up, but, really, no swimming pool for the price.... No problems. Very pleased. Expensive. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy and as it was on the same switch as the light you had to listen to it every time you were in the bathroom. No pool.
