  The staff was very friendly and helped us with questions about Newport. We got great tips about restaurants. Everyone was very helpful and nice. For example they always wanted to help with our stroller going up and down the stairs. This is an old house so it´s kind of narrow in the hallways but it was no problem getting around. The location is - We loved our visit to Newport and will stay here again! The staff was wonderful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Everything but the beaches and mansions were in walking distance. The breakfast was simple but filling and fresh each morning, with fruit and/or cookies out each day and afternoon. The room was great, and we especially enjoyed the deck...a great place for a glass of wine or cup of coffee! Thanks so much for a great stay!

  I thought the Inn had everything that we needed for our week end in Newport, RI. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great.   Stayed on 1st Fl Rm 105. Hotels location was a plus being so near Thames Street & waterfront. The underground garage was great since our car was secure while we walked all over Newport. Housekeeping inquired every night whether any thing was needed prior to morning. The bare brick walls were a nice decor/touch.   Bill and Mary were so friendly and accommodating. They were flexible with a later check-in, allowed us to keep our bikes out back, and park in their drive-way past check out. In addition, they were super helpful in suggesting restaurants (including important details, such as letting us know about one that was great, but didn't accept credit cards)... what people say » and activities (biking Ocean Drive). They were really superb hosts! - Rose Inn was walking distance to all of the shopping and restaurants in Newtown. They have off street parking so we saved having to pay for parking on the strip. The breakfasts in the morning were wonderful and I looked forward to it each morning. The owners were so kind and had many recommendations for us. Our towels were replenished daily and our sheets turned down nightly, it was lovely.

  I loved our charming, private room- the bed was huge and super comfy, the room was decked out with interesting decorations, and the grounds were beautiful. I loved how we were right in the heart of it all yet tucked away where no one could find us.
