  The staff was very friendly and helped us with questions about Newport. We got great tips about restaurants. Everyone was very helpful and nice. For example they always wanted to help with our stroller going up and down the stairs. This is an old house so it´s kind of narrow in the hallways but it was no problem getting around. The location is - We loved our visit to Newport and will stay here again! The staff was wonderful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Everything but the beaches and mansions were in walking distance. The breakfast was simple but filling and fresh each morning, with fruit and/or cookies out each day and afternoon. The room was great, and we especially enjoyed the deck...a great place for a glass of wine or cup of coffee! Thanks so much for a great stay!

You could look out the windows and see the harbor, James Town, and Goat Island in the distance. The shopping was fabulous. Everything within walking distance.   Stayed on 1st Fl Rm 105. Hotels location was a plus being so near Thames Street & waterfront. The underground garage was great since our car was secure while we walked all over Newport. Housekeeping inquired every night whether any thing was needed prior to morning. The bare brick walls were a nice decor/touch. Rooftop deck was nice to watch the sunset or harbor lig - This place was located in a perfect spot! Two blocks from the center of town. The building had such character and the rooms a beautiful mix of the old with the new. The staff was so helpful and friendly ( especially Jo!)! Awesome view from the top deck of the water. Lots of nice little touches....soft robes, fluffy pillows, good-nite note w/ gummy bears instead of chocolates :-)! Would definitely stay here again!

I loved how we were right in the heart of it all yet tucked away where no one could find us.
