The staff were excellent: friendly and helpful and were able to give us great tips. The cookies were a huge hit with the children and the access to hot tea ( something not so common in USA) was wonderful! The hotel was quiet and although the eating area for breakfast is small, there was never a problem finding somewhere to sit and eat. Having parking was also excellent.

It was much quieter than staying downtown, with easy access to the bus and not far from Golden Gate Park by car. Good restaurants within an easy walk. Parking facility was excellent and secure. - The room was super clean, oversized and the tub drained!! :) Parking was limited but free! The free coffee was better than Starbucks! I had a room that was large and very clean. Frig and microwave in room. It was easy access to the street, and I love this area of San Francisco. Close to Palace of Fine Arts, the Marina and shopping on Chestnut St. If the price is as competitive next year as this year when I visit San Francisco, I will definitely stay there.

It looks a bit run down on the outside, but inside the rooms have been renovated and are very nice indeed: meticulously clean, very comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave in ours, very handy. Spotless bathroom. Free (ample) parking in SF is invaluable. Location is very good too, just a very short walk off the lively Union street, convenient for buses... Overall, definitely recommended, we'll stay there again if we're ever in the area.
