This hotel is situated in New Jersey, but a really nice, quiet stay when visiting New York. Our well appointed room was on the 9th floor. A fair size with big double bed, clean bathroom, desk and fridge it was very comfortable. We slept witheet window open and had no problems with noise.

Check in was quick and easy. I loved that the hotel had affordable valet
service so we didn't have to worry about our car during our stay.
Everyone on the staff was so friendly and more than willing to go above
and beyond to help us. The pool and Jacuzzi was amazing, both were
perfect and clean. Our room was so clean and cozy, and the location was
perfect! We were walking distance away from fun and entertainment, and
the train station into the city was right next door. I wish I was able

This hotel was awesome!!! Four forty-somethings met for our annual 'girls weekend' and were unsure about the hotel, since we booked online. We had an apartment reserved that fell through at the last minute and in a panic we found the Intercontinental online and we were so happy. We could not believe how clean and beautiful this hotel was the conceirge and doormen were wonderfully helpful. Great restaurant recommendations, etc. We will definitely stay again. The room was a good size for NYC. Hotel was a block from Grand Central Terminal, super for subway and subway shuttle to Times Square! The restautant on site was nice, good food, out door seating. Because it was on 44th, and blocked by the terminal, the street was REALLY quiet. Toiletries and hair dryer and iron all good, no need to pack yours! -

I liked the fact that the room and bathroom were very clean and well kept. For New York City the size and price of the hotel room were also exceptional, especially when looking at some of the other hotels in the area. All of the staff, including the restaurant, were helpful and friendly and eager to serve. Everything is in walking distance.

The Marriot Marquis have a very friendly staff. Everyone was always helpful and all smiles. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The Christmas spirit with all the CHristmas trees in lobby was truley magical. One is able to see all the efforts that were made to give a guest a magicial holiday spirit the moment you walk through the doors. The restaurants, gift shops and loungres are very convenient as well. Over our opinion of hotel is a excellent plus plus.
