    We loved everything. We have stayed at several large and boutique hotels on the Gold Coast and the Peninsula is probably the best across the board. I have a difficult last name, but all of the staff immediately remembered it and also pronounced it correctly. - The location couldn't have been more convenient! Whether you met them on an elevator ride, or whether you transacted business w/ them - they consistently wore smiles and a courteous, welcoming attitude. - I really enjoyed my stay, and it was a better choice then most hotels in the area.     We traveled with an 8 year old. The room even with a rollaway bed was very large. The city/lake view was great. The highlight for our child was the dessert - a snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich - from the restaurant. It is conveniently located. - It was our 25th anninersary.     The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was beautiful with alot of nice "little touches" like scented candles lit in the lobby area at night. It is centrally located and very easy to get around. Concierge staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. In addition to coffee, there is a toaster, microwave, oven, cook-top and refridgerator - Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Hotel is really clean and comfy. Location of the hotel is amazing especially the view from the top levels is marvellous. The room was spacious and covered us all 5 adults and a kid. In house coffee bar was great they had nesperesso machines and the capsules were provided everyday. Hotel staff were helpful in finding us taxis while we wait in the lobby and it was really quick. Once we arrived they gave our kid a gift

Especially Nabeel and Jared were very kind and gave us a lot of great tips about what to do and where to go in Chicago. Fastest internet I have ever had. Excellent beds. Attentive and friendly staff. "Wine five-o-clock" at the lobby :) Great food at Sable restaurant and impressive cocktails at the bar. We arrived late, at 11 pm when the kitchen at the restaurant was about to close but nevertheless we were served with a great dinner.

    The hotel lies in the middle of the down town in a fairly safe area near to almost all of the attractions of the city and within a walking distance from the blue line subway which goes directly to the airport. The hotel has a perfect location close to malls (in front of Macy's), design shops (Nordstorm, DSW, Old Navy and etc.) and grocery stores (Target is the biggest one). It takes 40 minutes to get straight from the O'Hara airport to Wash - This is a great location for getting around Chicago downtown. Hotel has efficient and friendly staff; fantastic upper floors restored interior and history of the building is exceptionally interesting. Rooms are clean and comfortable with decent views if you are facing due east. Great bar and bistro on the ground floor. I will definitely visit again.
