  Beautiful older Hotel renovated in the last few years, We were there for our Anniversary and got a really nice room with a great view of the lake on the 26th floor. Glad we got a good deal on letsbookhotel.com for $229… The normal rate for the room was $519… ( For me it was definitely a $200 room but not a $500 room ) Great location one block off ... what people say » of Michigan Ave, and across the street from the John Hancock Building which has a crazy beautiful and expensive restaurant on the 95th floor but also - Staff was wonderful. Room was nice and big. I never heard any other guests. Right across the street from John Hancock building. Elegant. I liked how I could close the doors to the bedroom and watch tv in the living area. I had a late plane flight and they let me stay until 3p check out for no charge. Concierge was awesome.

  The staff was extremely helpful. Since the moment we arrived to until our last minute there we felt welcome. Especially Nabeel and Jared were very kind and gave us a lot of great tips about what to do and where to go in Chicago. Fastest internet I have ever had. Excellent beds. Attentive and friendly staff. "Wine five-o-clock" at the lobby :) Great food at Sable restaurant and impressive cocktails at the bar. We arrived late, at 11 pm when the kitchen at the restaurant was about to close but nevertheless we were served with a great dinner.
