I liked everything. Starting from the staff at the reception, and their
warm welcome, we were upgraded to a better room, after we arrived to the
room, the staff called to welcome us and check that everything is ok.
The pools are great and there is a lot of them. The kids pool has a big
umbrella so kids can swim under the shade. The beach is open sea. There
is a variety of top restaurants. There is a kids area with lots of toys.

Booked a horizon deluxe room for two nights. Staff allowed us to check in early, however were reluctant to honour late (i.e. 6pm) check out that was advertised as part of the horizon package. We had to really push for this due to an early morning flight to Oz. Otherwise staff and facilities were first class. Would definitely stay there again, especially for breakfast which was outstanding.

I called from Canada to ask if they could save a copy of the Khallej Times because I wanted to see the business ad I had placed before my arrival. I was pleased when one of the emplyees showed up at my door only 5 minutes after my arrival with a copy. Impressive service for my 4 days. This was my second stay at the hotel and just as last time everything was working perfectly fine. Perfect location, smooth check-in and check-out, very nice pool and fitness facilities. During the cooler months you can walk to JBR Walk, which is only 10-15 minutes away, or you can take a stroll on the Marina Walk, which is just outside the hotel. Being connected with the Marina Mall there is plenty of shopping and dining facilities close by if you don't want to have your meals at the hotel.

I was in Dubai on a 22 hr extended layover before a final 16 hour flight home and it was wonderful to have a place to sleep and leave my carry-on luggage while taking an excursion in to the city center via the metro. We never left air-conditioning while going from the airport to the Dubai mall and the Emirates mall - it was about 110 degrees outside. USE the METRO instead of a taxi - much cheaper and very easy to access in the airport. It was very convenient to get off the flight and stay in

I stayed in the hotel on 26/9/2013. I had booked a deluxe room for the couple of us and our 7-month-old baby. We walked into the room, only to discover that we were upgraded to an executive suite without even informing us. The hotel is now even better than before. The management really take note of customer comments. For example, I found a kettle in the room with tea and coffee making facilities this time. The room service is fast and very efficient and the quality of food is excellent as always. The speed of the check in and check out formalities has improved greatly.
