Many people wrote that they found it somewhat peculiar that the hotel was nearly empty. Actually, it was quite empty when I was there, too. This is probably the reason why my company had cut an excellent deal for accommodating a number of it's employees for a conference. I remember some years ago that hotel rooms were hard to find in Dubai. It looks like this has changed - which is good for the customers. It brings the prices down. Everything was immaculate. I stayed in the hotel on a business trip and being a 23 year old female on her own and never been to Dubai before I was more than a little anxious to say the least, however when i arrived in the early hours of the morning I was made to feel very safe and at ease by the great reception staff who were quick to check me in and get me up to my room. We stayed three nights here and loved it. It was a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Dubai and close to everything we wanted to see. The room was beautiful and the view great from the 26th floor. There was construction next door but we couldn't hear much noise. I'm sure we could have moved if we wanted to. I had a facial at the spa and it was very nice. The staff there treat you well. The sunset pool had the nicest design on it and I loved the lighting and ambience at night. We had lunch in - Jasvinder

second time in dubai, my friend suggest me staying in this hotel coz its affordable.. and its true.. well as we went inside, the lobby was so quiet coz its evening already at past 10pm. the receptionist was attentive and always smiling. Cant believe it was so easy to check-in unlike some luxury hotels. Me and my wife was so tired that time and ask for room service, and unfortunately, they dont have that kind of service. Reason? no idea. Its good thing that the lobby restaurant was still open - Derek

As a mature female traveller, I stayed at the Landmark Hotel in late August - early September 2009. The staff were very friendly and helpful - even showing me to my room booked for later in the day when I had arrived at 7am in the morning. A tourism advisor assisted me in locating the Big Bus which has an excellent day-tour of Dubai.
