Hotels near Dubai Mall

I just completed a 4 week business trip in which I stayed at 9 hotels, all of which would be rated 5 star by LetsBookHotel. The Address and Emirates Palace (in Abu Dhabi) were not only the best, it wasn't even close. The room was very clear and modern. All the amenities were there. Loved the in-room coffee; loved the soap amenities. (I have seen this before, but for some reason the selection of coffees got me to be a user). Firstly, yes, there is construction work nearby the hotel, but this is Dubai, and there is construction work everywhere! Did it affect our stay at the hotel - no! The rooms are a lovely size, with the most comfortable beds. Rooms have a small balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. Bathroom is fantastic, full bath, 2 sinks, walk in shower - with the shower head coming out from the ceiling, so no matter where you stand you will get the full affect of the shower!! The Palace Hotel is located close to where my meetings were being held, so was chosen for convenience and the group rate my employer gets. I was warmly welcomed and taken to my room by Eduardo (nice chap). Upon realising that I had been mistakenly given a disabled room (yes they have that covered), I was given the choice of superior room with a view of the fountain for free. I spent most of the time at the office or outside but had time to enjoy the free WIFI service, and the level of serv - Robin

We have been to Dubai before but as we were only stying one night we thought we would stay somewhere closer and more convenient. We had checked out LetsBookHotel as we always do and thought we'd try it based on the comments. It was outstanding value! The layout of the rooms is a little quirky with the bathtub in the centre - but hey wot fun! All the staff were so helpful and obliging. I stayed at this hotel for three weeks on business and it was the highlight of my trip. I was originally staying in neighbouring Sharjah but feeling uncomfortable there as a sole female, I opted to stay in Dubai and commute to Sharjah each day. The time spent commuting was well worth it considering that the staff could not have done more to make me feel more at home and relaxed. This is perffect place to stay with a family. I was with wife and 10 and 6 year old sons. The apartment was a 2 bedroom, HUGE! (larger than homes in Bombay!), had the works. Large living and dining area, bedroom with twin beds for kids, and master bed with queen bed for us. 3 bathrooms, and the kitchen. Man....Stove, oven, micro, fridge, deepfreezer, washing machine. stayed at towers rotana for 4 nights have been to dubai several times and all the hotels have been good but this was the best reception staff were very friendly remembered your name arrived early in morning had to wait a couple of hours for room were very apologetic even though you were not supposed to get your room till 3pm had a great room on 23 floor overlooking dubai to the beach, breakfast was very good and the long bar is definitly worth spending some time in staff great service good snack - Robin

For starters there is no way this anything less than a 4* property. Everything is clean, amenities are new and furniture, decoration etc. are all very classy and comfortable. Check in staff were extremely helpful, and reception was great overall. The only complaint is not so much the location, but rather the detour you need to make from one side of Sheikh Zayed Road, through Dubai Mall. If you're driving, this can get very confusing and may take a while to get you back on track, but with a tax - Emma
