The location was wonderful - we visited just prior to the opening of tourist season, which suited us just fine. The area was very quiet, and everything was close and accessible. Location is great (700m to Cala Mondrago), everything in the house is in mint condition, very nice and stylish rooms. Breakfast was fine with homemade pastry (cakes etc.) Good pool so you can even not leave the hotel if you like. Yoga teacher comes to the hotel twice a week (10 Euro for a lesson). Best Mallorca's beaches are nearby or can be easily reached by car.

Fantastic rooms and we were given a free upgrade on arrival. The staff were amazing and very accommodating both in the hotel, by the pool and in the restaurant. The restaurant was superb with a fantastic array of food on offer. We will definitely be back! -

In the remote location, they offer the luxury and relax environment to stay and you wouldn't like to go out. The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. I would call the decor "modern chic", it is new, clean, and
tasteful. The rooms are large, the windows double glazed and shuttered
as well, so it is eerily quiet at night and very dark in the morning if
you leave the shutters on. We had the continental breakfast, very
reasonable at 6 euros, upstairs on the terrace with full view over the
bay. Some say the location is outside the old city, well it may be, but
the walk is only 10 minutes and is a very pleasant walk as well.
