Though breakfast isn't served in the hotel there are free tee and coffee facilities and a fridge, - We were three young girls exploring barcelona with a low budget but looking for a comfortable hotel. The staff member Ella was not only beautiful but incredibly helpful in all aspects. She would give us directions and provide us with maps as well as recommendations of places to eat nearby which we ended up going to each night and for breakfast! We all needed to print off boarding passes and she would go the extra mile to help this happen. She also translated any Spanish for me. I cannot reccomm

  We stayed in MarBlau for a weekend and it was wonderful. First - location, close to the bus station and only 7 min to the beach. Second - friendly staff and cozy atmosphere in hotel. we had superior double room with balcony faced to the street, but it was not noisy at all. Everything in the room was modern, it was clean and moreover we had fridge,... what people say » so we could always cool down some drinks before going to the beach. What really impressed us was breakfast - not typical for spanish hotels in a good - The staff were very friendly and helped us out with recommendations for places to eat, which turned out to be very good. Our room was cleaned daily and we were provided with fresh towels etc. The hotel is ideally situated if you come to Tossa de Mar by bus. It is right in between the bus station and the old town. We had a fridge and the bathroom was quite big, and the balcony was great. We would definitely stay there again if we went back to Tossa de Mar :)

  We are a couple with one teenager and two younger children. We traveled through Spain for 10 days and This hotel was my favorite! Just around the corner for shopping and the beach and a lovely playroom in the cafe area of the hotel that my kids loved so we could relax in the evening or at breakfast.   We love the fact that it is set in an intmate buzzy little neighbourhood, where in no time at all, you get to recognise the local characters. There are few staff, all family, I suspect, and you get a very personal welcome. We have now been there twice and will do again - Really did like this hotel in whole. Nice location, not far from the beach (3 min walk), not noisy at nights, friendly personal.   The location of the pension couldnt be more perfect. In 10-15 min walk, you'r at the beach and in 2 min, u're at La Rambla Street. The pension is located in a small alley so it is very quiet. The room was simple but clean. The air condition, which is a must in Barcelona in July, worked perfectly. In conclusion, it is a great value/money hotel. We loved our stay - We stayed twice in a room with private bathroom and will be coming back for sure. The hotel is extremely nice: the design is simple, but very nice, in white and blue tones, the bed was extremely comfortable, rooms had a small balcony, the bathroom was clean and neat, the reception was friendly and helpful. It is 2 min walk from Las Ramblas and Columbus. All in all, you get much more than you are paying for. 10 out of 10.
