The information leaflet in the room stated a home away from home and this was certainly the case. All the staff at Villa Canaima were SO friendly and helpful, taking time to make sure we knew all the great things Lanzarote had to offer, even booking our rental car and cabs for us. They went out of their way to try and get hold of us to let us know we could stay past the standard 10am checkout time, which was super appreciated.

Having stayed before,i was familiar with the barcarola,but was surprised there was no air conditioning and pool was very cold.i asked at reception about the pool but told it was due to the wind that it was cold.the first week it was too cold to use pool. perhaps when weather is breezy and cool it may be the time to heat it to a comfortable level.

The location was excellent, we could not have had better. The grounds of the complex and pool area was very well kept and a nice environment to be in. The apartment was very comfortable, very clean with an excellent view of the sea. Overall the perfect place to stay.

Great location, next to the old town and on the strip for the new town. Very close to the beach. Very clean comfortable apartments with all you would require. Daily cleaning, if required. Great breakfast each morning with a selection to suit all tastes. Would have no hesitation in coming back here again. -

Bar staff were great, Marcelo & Jaen were very welcoming and were great entertainment.
Domingo runs the restaurant, he is a fine chef and I would recommend you try the restaurant during your stay.
Poolside is covered by a super nice guy Cecilio. More than a lifeguard, he would entertain and teach the kids card tricks and give the adults fitness tuition. Always one to hold an interesting conversation with.

we loved everything,location to beach so close ,shops and restaurants so close ,these apt are just a quarter way into the strip which makes everything at your door step but just enough away for sleeping at night ,perfect for young couples ,old or familys, pete and kath who run the apt are so friendly and helpful and bill the owner even rang a taxi to the airport back ,,thanks guys.
