  We booked this Hostal as overspill accommodation close to a family holiday home in Mojacar, and will definitely do so again. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, above a row of café/bars with a balcony facing across the street to the beach. This mainly consisted of the sound of locals discussing the issues of the day while playing dominoes on the terrace - Room size was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable and a generous size. Tea and coffee making facilities supplied. View over the Med was glorious. Hot water on demand. A/c if needed and heating if needed. Very convenient to all amenities - beach, shops, restaurants and bars. I thought the facilities at Hostel Virgin Del Mar were better than the Hotel where we stayed last year.

  very friendly staff, made you feel very welcome. One of the cleanest hotels i have stayed in. Room had no wardrobe but quite a fair size, tv on wall also air con and was on-suite water pressure was very good. Located across the road was a nice beach. Plenty of nice bars and places to eat close by. Supermarket 5 mins walk away. We stayed for 3 nig... what people say » hts and enjoyed it we would use the hotel again. Forget about the 1 star rating its family run and the more stars you get the more taxes you pay - tha - this hotel is situated on a quiet spot near to the bus in an ideal spot to access Mojacar old town. The staff here are very unassuming but very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are basic but apart from a hair drier they have everything needed. They are extremely clean and bright and quiet. In our opinion this hotel offered us a very good deal. Excellent value for money and would definitely recommend. Try La Cava restaurant on the sea front for a special meal, the quality of food is excellent.

  Brilliant location staff very friendly and helpful also very clean great for couples and families brilliant views from all rooms look out over the sea . Would recommend to anyone definitely go back. - The location was perfect with every room having a sea view. The rooms were much larger than expected and comfortably furnished.
