  We booked this Hostal as overspill accommodation close to a family holiday home in Mojacar, and will definitely do so again. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, above a row of café/bars with a balcony facing across the street to the beach. There was a very effective blackout curtain, to stop the room being flooded with light at sunrise. Noise ... vad folk säger » was not a problem mid-week in May. This mainly consisted of the sound of locals discussing the issues of the day while playing dominoes on the terrace - Room size was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable and a generous size. Tea and coffee making facilities supplied. View over the Med was glorious. Hot water on demand. A/c if needed and heating if needed. Very convenient to all amenities - beach, shops, restaurants and bars. I thought the facilities at Hostel Virgin Del Mar were better than the Hotel where we stayed last year.

  very friendly staff, made you feel very welcome. One of the cleanest hotels i have stayed in. Room had no wardrobe but quite a fair size, tv on wall also air con and was on-suite water pressure was very good. Located across the road was a nice beach. Forget about the 1 star rating its family run and the more stars you get the more taxes you pay - tha - this hotel is situated on a quiet spot near to the bus in an ideal spot to access Mojacar old town. The staff here are very unassuming but very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are basic but apart from a hair drier they have everything needed. They are extremely clean and bright and quiet. In our opinion this hotel offered us a very good deal. Excellent value for money and would definitely recommend. Try La Cava restaurant on the sea front for a special meal, the quality of food is excellent.

  Brilliant location staff very friendly and helpful also very clean great for couples and families brilliant views from all rooms look out over the sea .   Room was superb, and hotel location - The room and service from the staff were excellent and the room was very good value for money, clean with a good view and balcony. We were shown to our room which was more than we got at a 4 star hotel.

  We arrived later than expected but Miguel and his wonderful dog, Pegasus, were so friendly and welcoming. Miguel helped us with directions over the phone, as it was our first visit to these apartments and Mojacar.   We cannot speak highly enough about this delightful place. The couple running it are so pleasant and friendly and make you very welcome. Great location. Super rooms with great views. If we went back to Mojacar wouldn't stay anywhere else. - Excellent location as in the old town which isn't to busy. Close to restaurants and bars.
