  This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. My friends and I got a really home away from home feeling. The apartments we booked were totally 5 star quality: clean, well-designed and quiet. Big flat screen tv showing many tv channels including CNN, BBC and Sony movie channel. The kitchen is complete and the bathroom is very modern and clean. We have a family of four (two teens) and had a terrible time finding a hotel or anything with appropriate bedding arrangements. No only did we have two very nice bedrooms, but it had a lovely kitchen and living area. A balcony overlooked the street. The building is nearly sound proof to the city traffic.

  Rooms are built within an appartement building giving you the feeling of having your own city loft. We had room 4 with a spacious patio overlooking the university building. Beautiful combination of old tile floors with authentic design. It is a hostel but the beds are really comfortable, have luxurious sheets and everything is brand new, clean and... what people say » well finished. The hostel is very centrally located at the placa de la universidad and placa de Catalunya is at walking distance. The area surroundin - Very warm welcome from Carlos which continued throughout our stay-couldnt have been more helpful. Room was a small Eco only but perfect for our two night stay as not needing a room to spend time in other than as a base. Wonderful bed and best sleep I've had for ages in hotel room (travel a lot with work). Great large shower- rain effect and seperate hand held. Lovely touch of free tea and coffee available for guests and a light breakfast provided (not mentioned when booking). Fab location- two

  The hotel is very basic but excellent value for money and reception is staffed 24 hrs a day. The staff were great - friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked well.
