  This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. My friends and I got a really home away from home feeling. The apartments we booked were totally 5 star quality: clean, well-designed and quiet. Big flat screen tv showing many tv channels including CNN, BBC and Sony movie channel. The kitchen is complete and the bathroom is very modern and clean. We have a family of four (two teens) and had a terrible time finding a hotel or anything with appropriate bedding arrangements. No only did we have two very nice bedrooms, but it had a lovely kitchen and living area. A balcony overlooked the street. The building is nearly sound proof to the city traffic.

  The apartment was lovely. Nice little balconies overlooking a park. Plenty of space. We were very happy to have the kitchen facilities, and the price was the same as a regular hotel. The location was wonderful, just a couple of blocks north of the University.   This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. - The location is ideal for exploring the city on foot.It is next to The Passeig De Gracia and very close to Las Ramblas.Extremely friendly staff that helped us orginize our trip.Our room (Nr 8) was spacious,clean,comfortable and very quiet.There are many options around the hostal for eating,shopping and many more.There was hot water and very strong wifi signal all the time.It was generally very well organized with door codes and everything needed provided before we had even arrived!
