  The location is great, near metro, main train station (Atocha) and lots of eating places. The outside looks old but the inside is newly renovated. The rooms are big, comfortable, clean and warm. Staff is friendly, helpful and pleasant. Help to arrange taxi after we checked out. - The room i hired was very comfortable. You can find anything you need in the apartment. The staff was friendly and helped us a lot. There are lots of bars, tabernas on the street but it is incredible that you dont hear any noise in the apartment. Also because of this bars, there are lots of people on the street. So when you are coming to your apartment at night, you feel safd because of the crowd. So far i really enjoyed my stay in this apartment.

  The hotel was very central. We used the Metro from the airport and the Metro stop was outside the front door. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. We were there for a special ocassion and were given a room on the top floor with agreat view of the city. The hotel also supplied a free bottle of champagne to us. The hotel was excellent. The location of the hotel is excellent very central for exploring the city centre on foot and witha metro station just outside the hotel for people who don't wish to walk. Breakfast buffet is superb and the breakfast room staff are friendly and efficient. this is the second time that we have stayed in the hotel. great!

  The location was right down in the city and close to many sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was of the old architecture, which was charming. The rooms had a television, phone and plenty of bath linens. Jimmy and his staff were always very helpful. We spent 5 nights in Madrid and were very pleased with our accommoda... what people say » tions. We would recommend Hostal Sardinero to anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Madrid. - Superb location in beautiful side-street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. It was lovely to feel that we were in the heart of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Room very comfortable. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday nights from people in the street but no traffic noise.
