  It was central in Madrid- within walking distance of many of the main tourist sites .But the best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful at all times. One of the reception staff even phoned her mother who was taking part in a procession for holy week to see where it was so we could go and watch. By means of public transport everything can be reached easily. Big room with huge beds and a large balcony. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful to all your requests (even after paying the hotel bill). The buffet breakfast is very good, you can have whatever you want. The waiters are exceptionally nice.

  The hotel was very central. We used the Metro from the airport and the Metro stop was outside the front door. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. We were there for a special ocassion and were given a room on the top floor with agreat view of the city. The hotel also supplied a free bottle of champagne to us. The hotel was excellent.   This was a genuine 4 star hotel at a 2 star rate - Excellent! Whilst not in the centre of town, it is near huge park areas which are really nice - It was close to the metro, the train station and the main attractions. We were able to walk to the main attractions.
