Great location, about 30 seconds walk from Gran Via station. Close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Journey time from the airport on the metro approximately 35 minutes but bit of a headache if you have large bags as some of the connecting stations have steps. Really nice staff and decor. Location was just the best in Madrid I believe. It is not in the midle of the touristic spot so you dont see 40+ years old tourists waddling around in their "comfortable" attire when you go outside of you hotel, instead, you are in the middle of the trendiest area. We had a wonderful time in this beautifully designed and extremely well located hotel. Staff were very friendly, elegant and welcoming. Attention to detail is for sure one of the key principles of this hotel, starting with the welcome (someone opening the door for you, we got offered as well a glass of Champagne to welcome us, water was provided for free in the room, ...).
