Staff were very friendly and helpful, free wifi in the lobby was useful. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as there were a lot of cafes around to sit outside. We had chosen a double room as the preferred option but we were offered a twin as it would be bigger with a better view so we took it.

Enjoyed the location for getting to the City Tours and for feeling save. Front desk staff were competent in English which was a big help for us. Excellent location (close to some attractions, metro station Diagonal practically in front of the Hotel), friendly staff, clean room. We stayed 4 days and were quit satisfied. I would recommend this Hotel to the others. Before my trip, I thought, La Rambla should be more attractive location for staying, but now I would for sure prefer Passeig de Gracia. So, it seems, I made right decision.

Great location, 3 blocks from Passieg de Gracia train station, 5 blocks from Las Ramblas. Very convenient for a flyin holiday. No need to rent a car. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Their English was much better than my Spanish! Rooms were clean, comfortable and quaint. Hotel is an old 19th century mansion conversion. - Excellent location

So we asked to change to a front room with a window that could be opened. Our request was immediately satisfied.
