it's very close to everything - 10 mins walk to Ramblas/the port/Montjuic/Placa Espanya.
the metro line is right next to it and can take you quickly anywhere in Barcelona (example 5 mins to Placa Catalunya, 10 mins to the beach etc).
everything looks exactly as in the pictures on the website. it's very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful.

This was the first booking we ever made on line. Had to get used to the casual arrangements without a staffed lobby. However the staff were available to serve our limited needs. and the accommodations appeared to have been recently renovated OR built and generous in size. We chose not to eat in but might the next time. Barcelona was a revelation to us. It is a great city with wonderful people od such diversity. And I could go on...

I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. This was a fully furnished and equipped apartment. Location was excellent and the place was amazing. Staying in an apartment in a foreign city really lets you experience a city in a new way.

The staff were very nice and understanding. They kept my reservation even though my credit card had failed and there wasn't any chance to call my bank as I was in transit from Rome. This was the best place we stayed in our 2 week holiday in Barcelona, Paris and Rome. My family loved the place and wish we had discovered it earlier. Exceptionally clean and neat with modern decor. Loved the pictures at the reception.
