The location was wonderful. Next to everything but still in a small street. Only as noisy as the noise was from the the cute bar around the corner. Didn't bother us. Was easy to come and go. Good for cooking if you wish to do so.

The room was cleaned every day and the receptionists and cleaners were friendly. - Fantastic hotel in a great location in a quiet street in the old town. Lovely apartment, fresh, clean and bright. Well equipped for a short or long-term stay. Wifi, air conditioning, shower all excellent. Plenty of space and storage; comfortable and stylish. It certainly had everything we needed and more. Brilliant location. Owner was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others.

Easy 9min walk from bus-station. Joan on the night desk was very cheerful and helpful, despite limited English (but he makes the effort). 24hr front desk. Nice wall tiling. Standing fans in rooms are very effective. -

The place had loads of character, we loved the quirky shapes and designs of the place and our room was delightful, and there are some lovely public spaces. The location was absolutely brilliant, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and close to the cathedral. It was amazing to get such good value accommodation in this spot. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are basic, but for people on a budget, the Vergara is a cut above.
