We arrived at 11.30am after starting from home at 3.30am. We were delighted to be told a room was available and that our request for a room in the quiter part of the hotel had been honoured. The hotel restaurant has an excellent menu offering a varied choice of well prepared dishes at a reasonable price. We would recommend this hotel to our friends

The locality. It is perfect. It is by Plaza Catalunya-the heart of the city. I never needed to use the taxi. Everything was close by-Plaza Catalunya was a 5 min walk, the metro was a 5 min walk, the bus stop was a 5 step walk, Las Ramblas was a 10 min walk away. The rooms were 4 star quality. As has been mentioned elsewhere this is much better than a two star hotel. Though a bit away from the centre, it is easy to get to by public transport - just 5-10 mins on bus nos 16 or 17. This is a quiet business hotel (althouogh we were tourists) located in the Gracia neighborhood. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was an ok size with comfortable beds and wifi. Hotel has a inside/outside lounge that was nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and before heading out to dinner. Optional breakfast is acceptable.

The location is great. It's close to the city centre and bus stops are within 5 minutes of walk.Metro station (Diagonal) is within 15 minutes of walk. There's also a supermarket next to the hotel so you can buy almost everything you need. Local fruits are cheap.
