The location, nestled in the historic district, very interesting,
charming. The person at the front desk, when we finally arrived, very
helpful. He even moved his car so we could park close to the hotel.
Breakfast was good,liked having the fried eggs, in addition to the other
offerings. The room, however, was freezing. -

All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, in particular Maja, who helped us when we needed to visit the local hospital.
The room was lovely and the bed was huge! Everything we wanted to see in the old town was within walking distance.

Everything! Location was unbeatable and contrary to many old town centres, the taxi could take us right to the door. The staff was helpful, all receptionists were like Concierges: they recommended sites, restaurants. The room had all the latest amenities and comforts but the bonus was beautiful decor in and out of room and wonderful smell everywhere. Will go back!

Actually didn't stay at the hotel due to technical problems but was booked in to a hotel round the corner (and had a junior suite!). Came back to Nord 1901 to use the pool and was offered a free drink. Staff at Nord 1901 are excellent, very friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. The hotel is also very close to the town centre (by foot) where there are some very good restaurants (I'd recommend Mimolet which has excellent 30 euro menu)

We were waiting for a package to be delivered and the hotel staff couldn't do enough to make sure it arrived safely even offered to call the delivery company, without us even asking them for help. The beds were comfy ( we had a double and a pull down), room spacious enough and the shower was great. I travelled with my 72 years old mum and my 18 year old daughter, and this met our needs!
