  Great location, 3 blocks from Passieg de Gracia train station, 5 blocks from Las Ramblas. Very convenient for a flyin holiday. No need to rent a car. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Their English was much better than my Spanish! Rooms were clean, comfortable and quaint. Hotel is an old 19th century mansion conversion. - Excellent location... what people say » right in the heart of Barcelona, very close to drop off point of Airport Shuttle. Good spacious family room.   Wonderfull location, just off the Ramblas on a quiet street. The rooms are good sized and comfortably equipped. Did't have their breakfast. Had avery good stay. would definately recommend the hotel to friends and stay there again if will visit Barcelona in the future. - location and toiletries

  The rooms were impeccably clean and very comfortable. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Any request or query was delt with efficiently and effectivley. The restaurant, food and service was of a high quality. The selection for breakfast was amazing....we were spoilt for choice!   Out stay was very short as our train into Barelona was three hours late, along with some other travel problems, so we really only slept in the beds and used the shower, we would of loved to have had more time as we really liked the view and the balcony, unfurtunately our stay turnede out to be for only a few hours, it was nice though we both slept ... what people say » well. - Had a great view over the city with a roof top terrace and ideallocation right on the Marina front

  The Catalonia Avinyo's staff called us a day ahead, informing that Catalonia Avinyo was fully booked so we were changed to another hotel in the same network called "Catalonia Port" and I really recommend this hotel!! Very new, very clean, very comfortable!! and it's near the port and Columbus Monument. That's mean you can start walking from the beg... what people say » inning of La Rambla!! and it's near the metro.. - What a gem! Catalonia Avinyo is a great place to stay while in Barcelona. The modern decor make it very comfortable and chic. Also, it has an excellent location. Very near everything. If you are a first time tourist or a frequent visitor you will be satisfied with this hotel. An added bonus is the restaurante across from the hotel El Gran, it is wonderful!
