  The location is great! In the middle of the old center, in walking distance to many restaurants, tapas bars, sights, shopping street, etc. The price-quality ratio of the hotel is very good. Our room was about 46 euro per night, for a small room with double bed, hot shower, small balcony; no breakfast though. Warm atmosphere, good information available at reception. - The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget. Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.

  I ist just an amazing place :) You live in a side street (so it's pretty calm compared to the general noise in Valencia) and you are close to everytning. All what we needed was in walking distance. They rent also bicycles (we got 10% discount). We cycled to the beach and to the Albufera reserve (It was really worth the effort). And if you need so... what people say » mething you missing, just ask the hosts, they will do everything for you :) Thank you for the nice stay Cristina, Martina and Igor! - Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was good to have access to a kitchen facility.

  The very chic and elegant room design made me feel like I was staying at a five-star hotel. The great staff service added to this impression. The location and price could not have been better- just a quick walk to awesome sites and restaurants, not to mention the train station. Staying at the Palacete certainly added to my wonderful experience ... what people say » in Valencia! - Id stayed here quite some month ago and the hotel was full of teething problems as only been open a few days. I then stayed again but was to soon to review it. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the decor is of a very high standard and all staff are more than helpfull. The location is excellent and when ever i visit Valencia in future i would try and stay here.

  Wonderful helpful, friendly staff whom we spent a lot of time just chatting with! Small, intimate hostel (max 28 ppl at one time) so it is really easy to socialize with your fellow travellers. As two 20-something girls we stayed in the private bedroom with 2 single beds and it was perfect! Looked just like the pictures and felt like a boutique hot... what people say » el (design, details, helpful staff) at a fraction of the cost. Great location and easy to navigate to all the main sights, nightlife, etc. - Hostel is located in a very quiet street in the old town part of the city, not far from the Nord train station and close to everything else. Rooms have lockers, small table, clothes hangers and mirror. Good internet connection in all parts of the hostel.

Location is good, in walking distance (20 min) from the train station and 30 min from the City of Sciences and Arts. We only used transportation to get to the airport. Rooms small but clean, there is balcony. Very good location - in the city center, not far from metro station and there is a big foodmarket in 5 minutes of walk.
